Started playing piano and taking lessons around 8 years old. My uncle Nolan introduced me to the guitar and the rest is history.
Singing in the church was a Sunday morning ritual growing up. Always mandatory every Sunday. So, of course I took advantage of the free singing lessons from all my family members who I sang within our church choir. (Aunt Net, Aunt Verlee, my mom) Uncle Nolan sang tenor and I was able to harmonize with him.
Joined the high school band. Played 3rd string trumpet for marching band, French Horn for concert band. Later, I went on to play tenor sax until, my band teacher offered me the marching French Horn. (My own Section) No one wanted to play the horn because they thought you had to stick your hand in the bell and march. Little did we all know, the bell was out like a trumpet but larger. Then, everyone wanted to play it. But, I was the chosen one. 😊
Recorded with the late Harold Cowart, bassist (Bee Gees and John Fred) He wrote the famous bass line in "Judy on Disguise" by John Fred and the Play Boys. Mr. Cowart played bass on 6 of my songs. Learned a lot of the music business from that man. He was a great teacher.

Yes, I do my own website. Hell, cost to much to pay someone to do something I can do myself. Had to learn HTML coding when I started. Today, GoDaddy makes it easy. If you can drop and drag, you can design a website. ❤️
